Second web seminar on Climate proofing in infrastructure projects for the period 2021-2027

Main points of the programme:

- Developments and vision of the European Commission on the implementation of climate proofing in the period 2021-2027 and progress on EU climate preparedness and adaptation policies.

- Experiences of EIB Advisory providing technical support to Member States.

- Round table with management authorities and ministries.

- Open discussion session to share experiences and identify areas for simplification or improvement (also useful for the forthcoming MFF 2028-2034).

- Possibility to request one-to-one bilateral orientation meetings with EIB experts.

Information session on the Fourth Call for Proposals for the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme

The Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme will hold an online information session on 22 September, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (CET, Peninsular Spain time), to present the main developments of the fourth call for projects.

During the session, the most relevant aspects of the call for proposals will be addressed and the consultations of the entities interested in submitting nominations will be answered.

The conference is aimed at potential beneficiaries of transnational cooperation projects that contribute to boosting innovation, resilience and sustainable development in the European Atlantic area.

Participation requires prior registration. The recording and materials of the meeting will then be available for consultation.

Interreg Cooperation Day: Projects that transform territories

Under the motto 'Stronger together: projects that transform territories', the Interreg Cooperation Day will take place on 22 September in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia.

This is a day in which institutional representatives from Spain, Portugal and the European Commission will meet, together with projects from the main European territorial cooperation programmes: SUDOE, POCTEP, Atlantic Area and Interreg Europe around four round tables devoted to land management, innovation and technology, the challenges of shared marine space and tourism and heritage.

The objective of the meeting is to show the added value of cooperation and to create a space for establishing new connections and opportunities for collaboration. To this end, a dynamic and participatory format has been developed through dialogo tables in which participants can share their experiences, results and lessons learned.

Match Sudoe: build your winning team!

The authorities of the Interreg Sudoe Programme organise two 'pitching' webinars to help organisations to get to know each other, to make themselves known and to facilitate the preparation of candidatures within the framework of the 4th call for structuring projects.

A structuring project aims to establish the necessary bases and tools at the transnational level to develop the organization and coordination of the intervention of public actors in a given sector.

The sessions will take place on 9 July 2026 for projects relating to the theme of 'fires' and on 10 July for those relating to the theme of 'ageing', corresponding to the specific objectives 2.4 of priority 1 and 4.5 of priority 3, respectively.

Both sessions are open both to entities involved in structuring projects seeking partners to set up a consortium, and to bodies willing to invest in transnational cooperation projects in their territory and to those bodies with competences or experiences in any of the thematic areas mentioned.
