Euro-Med: Conference: " ReWeaving Circular Governance in the Mediterranean "

Conferencia

On 6 November, the Interreg Euro-MED Mission for a Sustainable and Innovative Economy will host the second edition of the MED Innovation Summit at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. The event will bring together innovators, policy makers, entrepreneurs and local actors to explore how the principles of the circular economy can drive systemic change.

This year's edition of the MED Innovation Summit focuses on how innovative governance and public-private partnerships can transform waste management practices and open up new circular opportunities. The Summit will pay particular attention to the textile sector, where Europeans throw away around five million tonnes of clothing and footwear every year, but only 1% is recycled to make new clothes.
