FOLIUM. Postdoctoral programme of the IdISBa

The objective of the FUTURMed project is to attract research talent for the medicine of the future, which will promote the recruitment of young researchers with great potential and a recognized track record, as well as training in transversal skills (entrepreneurship, leadership and communication). Among the functions envisaged are: the development of research programmes specific to their area, joining IdISBa research groups, the strengthening of existing lines of research, the production and promotion of publications with national and international impact, the obtaining of competitive projects, the generation and transfer of knowledge with an impact on the health of the population and the health system. Thanks to this programme, value has been generated in the field of health research, demonstrating the achievement of improvements with a clear return to the population. The selection of staff has been carried out in accordance with the principles of publicity, merit and ability and, once the staff has been selected, it has been integrated into one of the groups already existing in the sponsoring institution, thus becoming part of a team that is cohesive and coordinated by a manager who has guided the work of these researchers in order to achieve the best results in the field of research.
