Integrated project at EDUSI Onda.

The aim of this operation is to create a social housing fund that will help solve housing problems in specific groups, such as young people at risk of social or labour exclusion, women victims of gender-based violence or evicted persons, among others. The operation also seeks to promote social inclusion and combat poverty and all forms of discrimination.

The rehabilitation of the buildings also aims to improve the physical, economic and social environment in the area of the historic centre of Onda Castle. This area is of great historical and heritage value, but it has undergone a process of deterioration and neglect in recent decades. The rehabilitation operation therefore seeks to recover and enhance the historic heritage of the city while helping to improve the quality of life of people in vulnerable situations.

So the Onda City Council's operation to rehabilitate buildings for social housing is an important initiative to address the problems of access to housing and promote social inclusion in the city. The investment made, co-financed by the ERDF funds, demonstrates the commitment of public institutions to improving the living conditions of people in vulnerable situations.

In addition, this action has had a very positive impact on the urban environment, since it has made it possible to recover a space in the historic centre of Onda that was in a state of abandonment and that had become a source of dirt and danger for the residents of the area.
