Espai Cràter: Immersive park for the dissemination of vulcanism in the Garrotxa

The Espai Cràter de Olot is an exhibition centre located within the Puig del Roser volcano, in the vicinity of the Garrotxa volcanic landscape. The main objective of this interpretation and dissemination centre is to provide knowledge about volcanoes, science and society. With innovative technology and experiential experiences, it offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the volcanoes of the Garrotxa and the world, and how they interact with their environment. It is a project that unites knowledge, culture, nature and tourism, through teaching to know, preserve and care for the environment and biodiversity existing in this emblematic space. Since it opened its doors, a total of 98,263 people have visited the facilities and participated in the activities of the Espai Cràter de Olot. Of these visitors, one quarter, namely 23,719, are students from various educational centres.
