The Waste Treatment Infrastructure Service of the Ministry of Development and the Environment is responsible for the implementation of investments in waste infrastructure in the region, including the Urban Waste Landfill Sealing Programme. The objective of this good practice has been the sealing of urban waste dumps in the province of Palencia, which for many years has served both the capital of the province and the province. Of all the activities carried out in the province of Palencia, two are noteworthy good practices: the sealing of the municipal waste dump in the Cerrato community in Cevico de la Torre (Palencia) and the sealing of the municipal waste dump in Valdeseñor (PA).
