Match Sudoe: build your winning team!

Webinario

The authorities of the Interreg Sudoe Programme organise two 'pitching' webinars to help organisations to get to know each other, to make themselves known and to facilitate the preparation of candidatures within the framework of the 4th call for structuring projects.
A structuring project aims to establish the necessary bases and tools at the transnational level to develop the organization and coordination of the intervention of public actors in a given sector.
The sessions will take place on 9 July 2026 for projects relating to the theme of 'fires' and on 10 July for those relating to the theme of 'ageing', corresponding to the specific objectives 2.4 of priority 1 and 4.5 of priority 3, respectively.
Both sessions are open both to entities involved in structuring projects seeking partners to set up a consortium, and to bodies willing to invest in transnational cooperation projects in their territory and to those bodies with competences or experiences in any of the thematic areas mentioned.

4th Edition ARIAS AWARDS 2026

Concurso

The European CAP Network (EU CAP Network) has launched the fourth edition of the “Agrarian and Rural Inspiration Awards” (ARIA) 2026. In this new call for proposals, the motto chosen is 'When equality drives the next generation', a message that focuses on women's leadership and seeks projects that promote gender equality in agriculture and rural areas.

Once again, the awards will distinguish between projects financed by the common agricultural policy (CAP) through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF). The candidate initiatives should contribute to strengthening food security, environmental resilience and the socio-economic fabric of rural areas.

Categories and awards

The papers submitted should fall into one of the four main categories:

  1. Competitive and intelligent agriculture: for projects committed to an innovative, resilient and prepared agricultural sector to ensure food security in the long term.
  2. Environmental protection: aimed at proposals that favour sustainability, biodiversity or action against climate change.
  3. Socio-economic fabric of rural areas: for initiatives that promote the social and economic development of rural areas, whether through innovation, entrepreneurship or digitalisation.
  4. Gender equality: the jury will assess initiatives that contribute to reducing inequalities between women and men in the rural and agricultural sectors.

In addition to the category awards, two additional awards that are considered " Special Awards " will be awarded:

People's Vote Award: the public will select one of the 24 finalists by means of an online vote.

Generational relief prize: the jury will evaluate, among the 24 initiatives presented, those that contribute to the incorporation of new generations of young people into the countryside, thus ensuring the future of the rural environment.

Submission of nominations

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Spanish CAP Network, either by e-mail to redpac@mapa.es or to the territorial antenna of each Autonomous Community. Applications submitted directly to the European CAP Network will not be accepted.

The deadline for submitting nominations ends on 21 June at 23:59 hours.

Soil, water and climate: real experiences for resilient agriculture

Jornada laboral

From the CAP Network, belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, we invite you to attend the CAP Network Day "Soil, Water and Climate: Real Experiences for Resilient Agriculture", which will be held in face-to-face format on 16 and 17 June.
This day, organized in collaboration with El Colletero, will be held on 16 June in Venta Moncalvillo (Daroca de Rioja), where outstanding experiences from different autonomous communities regarding the sustainable management of soil and water natural resources will be presented. Likewise, on 17 June, it will be entirely dedicated to carrying out field visits to relevant farms in the municipalities of Sojuela and Nalda (La Rioja).
The objectives of this day are:
Publicise profitable, sustainable and innovative agricultural practices that improve soil health, optimise water use and increase the resilience of farms to adverse climatic conditions, facilitating their transfer and adaptation to other territories and production systems.

Raise awareness of the strategic importance of soil and water as key natural resources for the sustainability of the agricultural sector, highlighting their role in adapting to climate change.

Promote the exchange of knowledge and networking between farmers, technicians, researchers and administrations, promoting contact networks and alliances that promote the transition to more sustainable agricultural models.

Publicise the public policy framework and the work carried out by MAPA and the Autonomous Community of La Rioja in the areas of soils, sustainable water management, combating land degradation and promoting carbon sinks.
The registration deadline and the programme for the day will be available shortly, and will be accessible via the calendar of events on the CAP Network website.
